With 3 albums released, 9 tours in the USA, dates across all of Europe (New Zealand, Australia / Asia), and a multitude of singles, Von D is one of the few French producers to have made a real name for himself on the international bass music scene as a dubstep producer. After supplying the most influential labels and dubstep DJs with top-quality productions, he decided in 2015 to return to his roots by diving back into Reggae and Dub. His single Analog Sound, released in 2016 on Scrub a Dub (Scotch Bonnet), perfectly illustrates this transition by blending Bass Music and analog Dub.
For his return to his origins, Von D sharpened his sound palette, expanded his effects arsenal, and worked on his mixes until achieving productions that are more than solid. His dub, as contemporary as it is inspired by the masters who founded the genre, has won the favor of some major labels on the current scene. Deep Medi, System, Artikal, and Dub-Stuy are among the labels that highlight his qualities as a producer.
Today, Von D is well established in the crates. He is also regularly featured on the line-ups of major dub events and major dubstep events. He has been active for over twenty years as a producer and DJ. With multiple upcoming releases, undeniable DJ set experience, and a dubplate crate packed to the brim, it seems he is set to continue making an impact on the dub scene and sound system sessions for years to come!
